Stuck John Deere B Revival

Here is the latest tractor to wander into my shop. This time it's a John Deere B that belongs to my neighbor and it belonged to his grandfather before him. I told him I'd help him get it going but neither of us knew it was stuck at the time so it turned into an adventure! Here is the process I went through for those interested.

Tester was not full enough to accurately tst the freeze point. It needs to be up to that cross hair looking deal at the top of the tester there. I use a couple similar testers and they act that way if not full up. Had false readings many times if it was not full. I also compare it to those test strips for the diesels in the coolant which has a freeze pad on them. Both seem to test quite close .

I did see that after the fact and tried to retest. The test result was the same. she was mixed a little weak. My other 2 tractros sitting there were at -34.
