Suped up golf cart

I ran across this ad for a re-engined golf cart on Facebook MarketPlace and thought it might spark up some comments on YT. A 440 snowmobile engine in a golf cart sounds like a little bit of an overkill, but the ad is pretty funny. It is not mine, I do not know the seller, and please do not show this to ad to any of my grandkids.

My cousin and some friends put a motorcycle engine in one, don't remember the brand but it 4 cylinders. They got a ticket going through town at several times the speed limit. Guess the judge questioned them at length on how they got a gulf cart to do that speed. Guess the engine fit in with all the hoods and everything on so it looked normal.

If ya want to kill yourself then here’s the thing for you.
Death machine?

Reminds me of an old go cart I bought the son when he was 8 or 9 years old. It had a 5 horse briggs in it. I was away working for a few weeks and he somehow got hold of a motorcycle engine and got it transplanted into that little go cart without his mother knowing what was going on. I came home and met him on the back road doing what seemed like 90 MPH! I often wonder what makes some young lads ( and some old lads too!) have that "need for speed" and others not so much?

It can apply to some girls too! I was commenting to a friend how his girlfriend in her second winter of snowmobiling was going faster than he was. His response was, "Yeah, but she hasn't gone into the trees yet.
