Super 55 carb adjustments

I have an '57 Oliver Super 55 with a Marvel Schebler carb. I got the Idle, timing and governor set correctly (I think, maybe not) and it starts right up and idles great but I'm having issues with going to full throttle, if I open it up very slowly I can get it to full speed but if I go too fast it coughs stumbles and dies. I know I'm missing something. Does anyone have any advice?

I don't know about to 55. Does it have the nob to increase the fuel flow, if it does, open it a little. If it has one it'll be at the bottom of the carb.

Thanks, I double checked, the Schebler only has 3 adjustment screws, idle speed, idle mixture and high speed load but your suggestion makes me wonder if I have the float set correctly and there's not enough fuel in the bowl for the demand, also I forgot to mention mine is a top main jet carb they also made a bottom jet version.

Thanks again
