Super 55 Hyraulic Link Adjuster

Hi all, just wondering if there is supposed to be any kind of seal /gasket on either the plunger knob, or the main nut of these link adjuster assemblies, or is it just a case of a grease filled cylinder & spring ?

Currently in the process of stripping this down to clean and re-build / paint.

There are no seals in that
