Anybody have some Original Oliver Valve Guides kicking around from a 77?
The Shop Manual states that the Guides are to be pressed down until the Shoulder of the Guide just Touches the Head.
Of course, the New Guides do not have a Step in them, nor did the guides that I drove out which had been installed at different Heights.
Can anybody give Me the Dimension from the Step to the End of the Guide?
It's getting all new Valves and Guides, and I am just trying to get it as Oliver Intended it to be.
