Building a Super 77 gas for pulling, does anyone make flat top pistons that come up flush with the top on the sleeve? What sizes are available? Got 1550 parts also. Looking to run around 2200 RPM. What kind of HP are some or you making? Thanks

I picked up a used set of 3 3/4 ones from an 88, had them ground down to the height I wanted, had the sleeves bored in the block, added new rings, and had what you seem to be looking for at about $400. gm

What are you doing to the head? More cubic inches, I would at least go with 550 valves especially on the exhaust. Which do you want to increase the most torque or horsepower?

Want to increase torque the most, will do a cam and head work. Any ideas on cranking compression with flat top pistons? Thanks

Do the dome pistons or flat tops make more power? Compression should be a little high on the domes. Just looking for the best torque out of the engine. Thanks

What about head casting #'s? I have a 1M-180-D with a 185502A and a 161157A with a 185502D. What engines did these originally come on. Thanks
