super 88 hydrolic pump

Hello my hydro pump leaks out all the fluid and the other day when i checked it to add more the oil was white so i am guessing water got in there but never has before, where could the water come from besides the vent/fill cap?? i was told the bottom of the pump cracks?

most of the time water will run down the hyd levers and past the rubber grommets at the base of the levers if they are weathered and cracked and into the unit. the water will freeze in the pump and cause the centerplate to crack. the seals could be leaking as well.

ok thanks ill check those boots and i am going to pull the hydro pump as soon as im done planting with it.. i never though of the hydro lever boots. thanks for the tip
