Super 88 lost hdys

So my S88 sat pretty much for a year with out being used. Seems it has lost hdys for some reason. Fill with fluid and give it a few minutes and well it appears you didn't add any fluid. My thinking is the shaft seals have gone bad again. Is this a common problem with Olivers?

Pump seals do go bad and you will most likely see the lost oil down in the transmission via a raised oil level. Pump most likely needs a rebuild while you are at it.

Hey Old,
You need to remove the hydraulic system, remove the pump to inspect it. Drive the dowels out of the pump and take it apart. It is going to be a cracked base plate, a cracked center section or seals no longer in the correct place. Call me six 08-two 14-38 five 2. I cna go over it and walk you through the repair.

I replaced the seals years ago on it so I have had it apart before but at my age not sure I can do it any longer
