Super 99 Sheet Metal

Is sheet metal for super 99 all the same??
I am trying to buy a super 99 GM and sheet metal is poor. If all the same perhaps replacement parts are available from oliver powered 99 or a gas 99. Anyone have any or know of any for sale (hood/tank/fenders/grill). Help is appreciated.

The super's are all the same except for the extra hole in the hood which is easy to drill, the 4-speed 6 cyl tin is the same but fenders are diff. The tin is Hard to find. Best bet is to find a 6 cyl diesel.

Thanks for the information. I thought they were all the same just wanted to confirm. I will see what can be saved and the hunt will be on for the needed sheet metal. If anyone runs across any 99 sheet metal please give me a shout.

I'm in the same situation as you. I purchased a 1955 super 99 but someone along the line decided to update to the 990 sheet metal. So I am still hunting--would be willing to trade.

Does anyone make any reproduction sheet metal?? I take it from your reply that 990 sheet metal will also fit. Is the 990 a direct bolt on or does it require modification? I have the 99 sheet metal except for the tank however it is in really bad shape.

Theres no reproduction sheet metal, however the grills are the same as the 88 which is easy to find. The 990 tin will bolt on but is harder to find and looks way differant.
