super a brakes

Need some help i have a super a that i am restoring. According to the serial number 293989 it is a late 50 model. The brake shoes for a late fiftey are the type that the brake rod is made too the shoe correct. but the question i have the brakes that are on the tractor are the type that the rod can be removed from the shoe. is it possible that someone has put the wrong brkes on it, will they interchange or is it not possible. thanks

the change took place @#339642 witch was in 1953 so yours would have the one piece band & rod. caseih.com has some good on line parts books (not as good as deere) hope this answers your question,stumper

I had one of each on my SA , so it appears they are interchangeable.....
