Super A Flywheel problem

I have a 50 model super a, that i am trying to restore. When the ring gear was removed from the flywheel the lip that is normally just above the ring gear, was cracked nearly half way around. Evedently this was a big problem because i went to a parts dealer and looked at several more that had been taken out of tractors that was broken completley off in pieces. My question is if i dont think it can be fixed but if i can't find a flywheel can this one still be used without causeing vibration problems. Any help or ideas will be appreciated. thanks

Dont worry about it heat the new gear and it will fall rite on .That engine doesent run fast enough to make a problem.

If I recall correctly the oil felt is what is called . It if I recall correctly is F12 and is found in felt supply stores. I know there is one in the Toronto
Ontario area CALLED THE FELT STORE> they will ship you a small square of of oil felt which is a different quality material than just straight felt.
You may have to research on the web for some.
