Thanks again guys, Helps when the timing is correct !
LOL

I drove it all around my property through all the gears, Kind a hard to tell but it seems to have a growl in the (I think they call it ) the finale drive(s) or maybe the 4 spd tranny??, maybe a bad bearing?, Hard to tell. Is there any particular bearing or shaft or????, the A's had problems with that I should be looking at?

As it is now this project is going on the back burner, I have way to many irons in the fire right now so you might not hear from me for a while til I get back to her.

As always You guys have been a big help, Thanks much !

Put 85w140 oil in it. Itll still growl but not as loud. I noticed it was harder to get my 1941 A into gear with 80w90 in it because it took longer for the gears to slow down. And the growl was much louder. I put 85w140 in and it went into gear easier and the growl wasn't as loud.

As I wait for my manuals may I ask where and what use the said gear oil? 1 would obviously be the transmission - Any other cavities ?

As always Big thank you guys
