Super C, Clutch Pressure Plate

As part of an engine overhaul I'm going to install a new clutch disc and pressure plate. The flywheel has been resurfaced. Looking for advice, so a few questions: Some of the discs I see advertised do not have any type of springs in the center section, just the friction material, a flat plate and the center hub for the spline. Any opinions on this type of a disc compared to one with the center spring assembly. I always thought the springs were there to help absorb the chatter. Pressure plates seem to come in 2 styles, one has narrow fingers (1/2"), and the other has wider fingers (1/1/2") wide. The one removed from the tractor has the wide fingers. Is one better than the other,(stronger-more reliable)? Prices vary for the different styles for both the disc and the pressure plate. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Bill

Go for the one with the center springs. they do help with chatter. When installing, be sure the spring side is toward the trans. or you will be splitting it again.
I would use the "Rockford" narrow finger. pressure plate. It is considered to be a bit heavier duty. Jim
