Super C Clutch

I?m searching for clutch kits. My local guy I deal with is right in line with Steiner and other parts houses which is $250-300. I found (link provided) a kit from yesterday?s tractors for $140. Does anyone have any expierence with this product or the reason why it?s $110-160 cheaper?

Looked last week for C clutch and YT had small finger clutch cheep. But original clutch had wide fingers, that was like $150 more. so watch what you buy on clutch's cheep ant so good when you have to split a tractor to replace it!

That?s what I worry about. I like dealing with local folks, but like the chance to save $150. However paying the extra money I can ensure I?m getting what I need.

I see that two are listed on YT. One is a spring disk another is a solid disk. Looking through the inspection hole on the torque tube I can see that it is the narrow finger, how do I tell if it is a solid disk or spring disk?

I have bought from YT and got good quality parts. You just have to look before you buy and know what you are buying. There are so many cheep parts around I think YT get two chose's listed to give guys a cost effective way to do repairs.

I'm pretty sure the '51 M still has the factory clutch, and I KNOW the '54 Super H does. 67 and 64 years, M was loader tractor almost all 67 years, Super H has been loader tractor last 23 years.

Are you sure the Super C really needs a clutch?

Through the service hole in the bottom I can see that one of the pressure plate fingers is not in place. I can tighten the adjustment bolt but it never gets tight as if the hole is stripped. The as it sits the the clutch pedal won?t disengage the clutch. I had posted another thread about the problem as it occurred suddenly while using the tractor. Push the clutch and the tractor keeps going.
