Got tune up stuff and installed except can't get condenser cap screw back in with new condenser attached. My fingers are big and it is very very hard to get to. Any tricks? I removed oil filter for better access. Don't want to remove distributer. Don't have a tool to get to the back cap screw anyway. Thanks in advance.

yes, i usually take a pair of pliers and ssqueze the clamp, while on the condenser.. not 100 percent, but, helps.

A magnetized screw driver might help. I've always fumbled around with a short screw driver while trying to get things lined up. You definitely want something under the tractor or be on a cement surface when working with those short screws so you can find them when you drop them.

Move the condenser to the outside of the distributor. The lead attaches to pass through stud for the wire from the coil. Trap the bracket under the bracket that holds the coil. Be sure that ground connection is good.

I replaced the cap screw with a button head socket screw. It sticks on the end of an allen wrench. Make sure the new screw is short enough. 8-32NC X 3/16, same with the stationary point.

Yes. Definitely a must have tool. I have this style and use it all the time. Saves a lot of time and bad words.

Sometimes I put a dab of wheel bearing grease on a screw head. It's sticky enough to keep it on the screw driver if you don't wiggle it around too much.

A screw starting screwdriver is indispencible.A must have tool. There are a couple of different types. Available at just about any hardware or auto parts store.
