Super C touch Control

I have heard that the touch control will leak into the crank case on these, and think that is what is happening to mine. What is the fix for this?

Remove the hydraulic pump from the engine and reseal. If the shaft is worn you'll need a speedi-sleeve to repair it prior to installing the new seal. Sam

A rising oil level in the crankcase that can't be attributed to water or coolant accompanied by a loss of fluid in the Touch Control system would be dead on for the diagnosis you have in mind.

Tractorsam's advice is spot on. There were two different pumps used, so the parts will be different to reseal, but the parts for both are readily available.

Here's the part's breakdown on the Pesco pump.
Item 4 wears a groove into item 11's shaft causing the leakage. Hal

Typical problem is the hydraulic pump o-rings are bad and the hydraulic fluid will leak into the engine crankcase. You can check the oil pan level petcocks. Don"t let the crankcase get too hith (full) else the seals will blow out.

First replace the o-rings, next may need to replace the pump.
