Super C Twin engine / or Double AA

I saw a picture someone posted the other day in Tractor Talk and in had a Farmall AA . My question is was this tractor actually made by Farmall and you could actually buy one from a dealer. I did do a little research and didnt come up with much. Did find one for sell for little over 32k . What was the purpose of the twin engines and one of the picture each engine had its own transmission. I researched it as a Double A but also found it called a Super C Twin and also a mention of F-20 and a F-30 . It just got my curiosity when i saw the picture on here and have never saw or heard of one. Thank you

Are you sure that wasn't some of Harry Lee's work, he was a farmer, collector, from Indiana, he made a lot of them double's and triple's.

Over the yrs many have been put together two and even three engines and not all "play things" are I-H other brands have been used.

The guy who ran the surplus store up in the
Quad Cities was at a tractor show several years
ago, & saw a double M which someone had put
together. He said it really looked like a nice
assembly job.

As far as I know,Harry only 'worked' on f series.He had quite the collection.

No IHC (or other brand that I know of) were doubled or tripled. The closest factory thing I know of is a split in the middle Euclid Dozer. Jim

All those tandem;twin and triple engine tractors are 'farmer made' by guys who had too much time on their hands. The factories never made such things. Even the twin 400 diesel,which was manufactured by an aftermarket company was not an IH product.However,Oliver made twin 880 once. It was never marketed,and I believe it was destroyed.

Don't think he had ANYTHING to do with any double or triple engine tractor.

Oliver made a small handful of twin 880 industrial tractors but as far as I know they were considered experimental.

When they built the Garrison Dam in North Dakota the two contractor's Peter Kuwit and Son's and the other one, Made a double HD21 Allis Chalmers, that had the 6-110 Detroit Diesel. That dirt had to be spread out,in layers 8 inches or less before it was packed They used it in the construction of the dam until it was done, i think it took about 4-5 years to complete it, Dwight D. Eisenhower came out for the dedication of the dam. There is a you tube clip on that, The Big Job,The Garrison Dam.
