Here is a 1953 Super C that I posted about a few days ago. The guy is now telling me that he would sell it for $300. Its a complete tractor with a lot of good parts on it. The owner said it was a running tractor when he parked it there 5+ years ago. Is it a good idea to get this tractor for the few parts that I need and then try to sell it? I'm thinking if it turns out to be tough to sell I could get my money back if I scrap it. Is this a good idea?

Over the course of a year or two you have $1k to 2k of parts there. It takes time, but the money is good. I don't do it much anymore now that I am selling enough musical instruments to keep busy in the evenings with building them, but I did it for a few years. Now I'm just selling my remaining inventory.
