Super M hydraulics ports

I"m adding a 3-pt kit to my 1953 Super M (S/N L509427J), a Stage II, I believe, with the distributor pump and the cast reservoir (P/N 358444R1) under the gas tank. Question: What are the bulges with ports in the cast rear plate of the reservoir? The top one is obvious - it"s plumbed and hosed forward to a T that feeds outlets to both sides midtractor for lift-only (loader, etc). What is the bottom bulge with two plugs (left and right)? Are they pressure and return? Can I use one and plumb it to the rear for lift-only function on my 3-pt? Or should I just T into the upper line I know is pressure, lift-only? For future reference, where do I find a description of the valve functions and ports inside this reservoir??

The lower port is the "delay" port for lifting the rear tire-track scrubbers with the mounted cultivator. It's not really a delay without the special delay popoff valve, but that's what it's for.

Either way you propose will work. All the ports lift simultaneously.

Thanks for the help! In the future, I may want to add an up-neutral-down valve for down pressure. In that case, I'll need a separate return. Is there a port for that, or will I have to plumb the return into the "fill" tube?
Thanks again!

The return can go on the left side into the fill plug hole after installing a tee. It can also go on the right side with a tee on the pump supply port. If you do that, think about installing a filter at the end of the return hose before it enters the tee.

You should also think about cleaning the reservoir. There always seems to be 1/2" of crud at the bottom if no one has ever bothered to clean the reservoir.
