While moving forward there is a clunking
sound coming from the transmission. Any
thoughts pointing me in the right
direction?

If it is at wheel speed, it's most likely axle clamps or rim clamps.
If it is faster, you've broken a tooth off a gear.

I noticed that the clutch pedal is sloppy where it attaches to side of housing. Doesn't seem normal. Like maybe something has come loose. I know nothing. Just trying to figure out where to start looking

They're all loose these days. There is no bushing on those. They all wobble side to side. Now,if it wobbles front to back, and just started ,there is most likely a problem inside. I agree, check axle clamps first.

as far as clutch pedal, my SMTA pedal would come back past the edge of platform due to being loose below, fixed it with a bracket to hold it in, my 560 had such a bracket on it when I got it. seems to be common problem

I would first remove all the bolts holding the clamp and lube the threads put back together and then see if the noise is still there.

I would not rule out an axle bearing, be careful moving it if it is an axle bearing one ball could ruin your day. I had one go out about a year ago a luckily all the balls fell toward the wheel into a small cavity that held them from going into the main case.
