Super MTA mystery attachment

Long time lurker, first time poster. Hopefully I can contribute something useful eventually.

I recently bought an MTA that has these on the rear. They look like some sort of 2 point hitch support but I’ve never seen them before. They pivot up and down about 5 inches easily and the balls don’t appear worn in any direction. They have IH castings. Can someone identify what they are and what they are worth? I’m considering removing them because I only plan to use the drawbar/pto and they are kinda in the way for getting on and off. Thanks in advance.

Never seen anything like those.Interesting.Some kind of lift linkage. However,they probably not "worth" any more than scrap. Unless someone really needs them. In that case,I would just give them away. Take em off,throw em out back on a pallet. I have a lot of like items out back.Eventually they will go to scrap. But till then they sit there till someone comes along who needs it.

Awesome! Figured someone would recognize them. Now does anyone want them? They are coming off this summer. I’m near St. Louis, Missouri.

How close to St. Louis? I'm about an hour and half southeast of there in Southern Illinois. I know several IH guys and can ask around.

They are the axle mount for a 2-MH mounted corn picker. Jim
