Thanks for your responses guys about making my tires round. I will post some pictures but the right tire got better with plowing as it had sat all summer. Right tire rim variation radially was 3/16”. Tire variation was 4/16, maybe 5/16”. Side to side I did not put a ruler to but less than 1/4”.

The left tire is bad and did not improve with plowing. Left tire rim variation radially is 1/4”. Dealer says this is good. Tire variation radially is 3/4” and changes dramatically in just 4-5 lugs. Side to side same as above. These are Grade II Firestones, Dealer says a price point tire. Paul

Pink chalk on lugs signifies 0 gap to wood block from lug. White chalk signifies 3/4” gap to lug. When driving down the road with the rollover plow on the back this creates quite a hump for the driver.

Chalk lines on sidewalk denote where tire sat on the floor over the summer.

Thanks again for your responses. Paul

When I worked in a dealership and had to true the wheel, I used a sawhorse with a steel tube fastened to it and put a steel rod in the tube against the edge of the rim. Spun the tire and let the rim push the rod back away from the rim.

I have a good year dt 712 that has a bad hump in it and it keeps getting worse. you have quite the variation i bet mine is even more
