Swapping JD 720 and 70 front ends

Can I take a JD 720 narrow front end and put it on a JD 70 with an adjustable wide front end? Both tractors are diesels. I want the 70D to have a narrow front so I can use it as a row crop tractor in my fields.

The narrow front will bolt right up to the 70. I have never swaped a narrow for a wide but it should work.

I have seen JD square tube wide fronts on both 70 and 720. I have also seen a JD round tube wide front on a 730. No reason a swap of a wide for a narrow wouldn't work as long as both are factory JD. I belive the factory square, round, and narrow all interchange and will bolt right on with no modifications.
