Syracuse plow help

Im looking for any info such as age, ECT. Is the 1880 mark the year? Thanks for any info on this

That is a beam mounted plow jointer. Basically it is a mini moldboard and share that sits next to the coulter blade and throws a small furrow slice over before the main plow moldboard.

Hopefully that makes sense

here is a wrap around jointer in use. Same concept as the one you have except this one is mounted to the coulter instead of the plow frame.
