System flush on '51 8n

Need to drain & flush the cooling system, what's the best procedure? Haven't been able to find anything in the archives.

Drain and fill with vinegar then run it till good and warmed up. Let cool then drain and back flush by way of a garden hose and the block drain. May take 2 or more times o get real clean.

Should I remove t-stat?

If you do she will never get good and warmed up. Barely reach 135 degrees.

Yes. Always remove the thermostat when flushing the cooling system.

Replace when finished.
