your drive sprocket either has bolts that has to be removed or in some cases those older smaller dozers had a large nut that you have to take off first. the main thing is to get your track loose enough where you can remove the sprocket. if you have a good set of rails then you will have to drive the center pin out to break the track. if you have enough wear you might be able to back the track adjuster off enough to remove the chain or I have heard of people saying they had enough room the chained the track back and removed the sprocket. if it has the nut then it slides onto splines. if its bolted on it will come off when the bolts are removed but be careful as parts for those aren't easy to come buy. good luck

Could be wrong but I seem to think that the sprocket and shaft are one piece, the shaft from the sprocket goes through the housing, bearings seals etc through the bull gear and has a retaining nut on the inside,so the final drive has to be removed to access the nut.

On the both sides there is a single bolt in the center . On the left side the bolt is tight. On the right side the the bolt is loose I can
turn it both directions with my fingers. It slides in and out about
about 1 inch

Sorry that's different than the type I thought it might be,there were a few guys on here that have some of them they might post and advise you.

sprocket is held by 3/4-7 bolt cant recall if you can access rear (large plate nut) or under cover
if you elect to remove it that is a 2 day job simplest to drop implement break track and drop rail frame then unbolt assm bring to bench and replace all bearing seals and worn gears if you find good used
if it has gone on or you suspect ANY seal leak BEARING wear change out both sides now
photos of progress good luck
