I have a farmall 340 with t/a that is very difficult to take out of gear with t/a forward, when t/a is pulled back the gearshift works freely.Mice had lunch with my operator manual so I am stuck. All help appreciated,Thanks POPCORN

First thiings first , get the foot pedal set to spec.'s then remove the spring between the clutch arm and the T/A linkage . Next break loose the lock nut on the slotted clevis and make sure that it turns free. Once ya got that all done remove the headed pin and hold the top of the T/A clutch arm so that it up against the T/A clutch throwout bearing to the T/A clutch fingers . Removal of the inspection cover will let you see what your doing . Then turn the clevis in as to shorten it and keep putting the headed pin in till ya have a little free play as so the throwout bearing is NOT touching the clutch fingers . Due to age and ware ya can not go by the book here it becomes a FEEL thing . When you push the clutch pedal down at about 1/2 to 2/3rds' pedal ya want the T/A clutch to start to start to release and by the time you are almost to the floor plate ya want BOTH clutches to be disengaged . Sometimes it even takes me a couple times to get it dead on .
