T-post driver

I have had an ExtremePower brand from Amazon for a couple of years and like it. Does what its supposed to in a hurry but it is heavy. I don't use it every day so it has held up well. I've probably put in 300 - 400 post with it.

I do not have any experience with power T post pounders. However may I suggest what I find as a faster and easier method? If I am going to build a new fence or have need to set more than 10 post, I use a skid steer or a tractor with a loader. I put the posts in the bucket, have helper position the post, then I push it in with the bucket. Using this method, we can put a 1/2 mile of posts in faster than any other way I have tried because the posts are staged and set in one pass as well as less fatigue on both of us. There is an occasional location that we can't get the skid steer or tractor to but very few where I live. If you fencing in very steep or wooded areas, this method may not be a solution for you. I still use the standard pipe post pounder for these areas or for the occasional fence repair.

I'll check it out ,our town chamber would use it about 2-3 days a year and drive 100-150 post we are tired of the unwanted blisters that come with the Arm-strong pounder lol. We borrowed one last year
and it worked great time to buy our own, priced the stihl fersion and holy cow kind of pricy are the somewhat cheaper versions pretty decent?

I purchased REDI-Driver BOSS Gas Powered Post Driver with Honda engine, more costly, 3yr warranty, about 15 seconds to drive a 6ft post in heavy clay. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & PARTS you talk to people who use post drivers for a living. Stay away from the cheaper made in China drivers , they may work for a season but not much more. REDI-Driver also works well with smaller wooden posts such as pointed/treated Lodgepole with the 4 inch barrel. Honda engine only takes about 3-4 oz of oil per change. And a big plus you get an instruction manual that cover all I needed to know.

I believe a company called Worksaver makes one, they are located in Litchfield IL. I don't have one, but I have a stump grinder of theirs and they are very good quality.
