Does anyone make good tape anymore. I recall the old tape. Would take off hair skin and all. This new stuff will hardly stick.

I've had the best luck with Gorilla Tape.

The wife bought a roll of that junk and it won't even stick to itself. There's a huge difference in duct tape, depends entirely on whether you buy it at the dollar store or the hardware store.

as in what kind of tape.? the one doctors use with bandages? when i get a cut i use electrical tape over the bandage , it dont come off.

Scotch #232 is one of the best masking tapes I've ever used. Now, - if you want to really stick it, then get Gorilla duct-type tape.

3M Temflex 1700 Mining-Grade Tape. If you are looking for the electrical type. It will have MSHA printed on it.

Yes I will try the other tape suggested. I remember when you had to wear the tape off.

Same problem here , new stuff is rubbish .
Thirty years ago I used a brand called
' US GAFFA ' , I have some timber still taped up with it to this day .
If the adhesive from shop price stickers was used tapes would be permanent !
A dinner set we had had price labels on the bottom that defied all attempts to remove them . Years after and hundreds of cycles through the dishwasher they were still there .

Different than my experience with Gorilla tape. It wouldn't even stick to itself.
