Td340 international dozer steering

Put steering pads. In td340 adjustaded them like Manuel says it goes straight neither side will release could it be springs couldn’t fine any trouble shooting in Manuel on steering

I would work on the assumption that the release mechanism is not going far enough to do the releasing. (I do not know the clutch design, so comments are not valuable. If multi disc, the discs can be warped. if similar to a standard single disc, the release bearing is not going far enough. Jim

If I'm correct, it drives by the pads gripping the rotors and when turning releases and further travel iv the lever then engages the external brakes. If brakes aren't adjusted turning really won't occur unless powering such as dozing.

Adjusted them according to manuel

If steering clutch is adjusted right shouldn’t they still release even brakes not adjusted right
