TD6 no start

I have a TD6 6 cyl direct start diesel . Got no fuel to the injectors . Cranks over good, tries to light with a whiff of starting fluid . Drained tank , fresh fuel . If I crack line at inj pump I have good flow to pump , I cracked return line at top of pump, have fuel there , no bubbles . Throttle lever on side of pump moves ok. Dozer sat for few years but I started it once a year,,this year ,no go . Whats next ??? Even tried some air pressure to the fuel tank .Still nothing at injectors .
Thanks

Have you cracked the lines at the injectors? If you open them up and still have no fuel to the injectors i would guess the high pressure part of the injection pump has froze from sitting.

If that is the IH282d with the Rosa Master pump, you probably have a stuck metering valve, which acts like a fuel shut off valve, in the pump. Some times a good tap with a rubber mallet will shake it loose and worse case is to go into the pump and do minor cleaning.I have an internal picture of the pump which I could e-mail to you if you want it. Contact me at [email protected] and can foward it to you.

Ac 21 is probably got you covred.. The injector pump is stuck in the off position on the inside. Like he said sometimes a tap will do it.But he will probably have to send you the photo. Not a big deal just the top of the pump to realease the thing. The only other thing is the pump drive is broken. You can take off the 2 little timing acces screws and watch as you turn the engine over and see if things are turning to check the drive shaft.

ACHD21A , would it be ok if I E mailed you too . I also have two D282's that have been sitting and am sure I will need to clean them .
Thanks Mike
