have td9 dozer with diesel 350 bought another motor my motor has flat top pistons with indented in one spot where the other motor they are domed in the whole way across is this a problem because i am using my original head just because will valves clear anything i got to watch for changing injector pumps around also thanks also mine had the oil punp that ran off a crank gear where as the new motor has one that runs off the cam

I tkink you are mixing different engine series. Doing math on the compression, or some one who knows should chime in. Differences lice you describe are serious. Just because it can be done doesn't mean it should. Good luck, JimN
