Hey, what is the thread size on the Lucas starter stud?

as per manual, 7/16 by 1 inch w/ 7/16 lock washer.

Thanks for your response. However I am looking for info about the brass stud that the wire is bolted onto the starter. It seems to be close to a metric 6x1.00, but is actualy a little bigger dia. than that.

good question, manual does not say, maybe bruce or john will have an answer, they are the tractor experts.

Thanks to all for your interest. I have taken the end off the stater and am in the prosess of soldering a new stud ( 1/4-20) in place of the one that was there.
