Telescopic steering column

Any tips or tricks to loosening up a stuck telescopic steering column on a G1000 Vista? Even the tilt is tight (rotating of the steering column).

I squirt WD40 down into my Oliver and it still took a lot of messing with before it came loose. I would try it every few days for quite a while, finally come loose.
