Ten Deadliest Tractors ever Built

12 VDC WILL shock you under certain conditions. Sweaty hands/body, firm contact with pos and neg. depending on the conductivity of you skin and the distance between points of contact, the shock will be mild or intense.

Those of you claiming it is impossible are simply miss informed. It is not good to pass on bad information.

If you don’t believe this, get a 9volt battery. Touch the terminals to your arm. Note the result. The put one thumb on the pos terminal. The other thumb one the neg terminal. Note the result. Different people will get different results, depending on age, skin condition etc.

It is very possible you felt nothing. That does not prove it won’t shock you. If you really believe it shock you.....go ahead and touch your tongue to the terminals.

It is all physics. Shock intensity is dependent on current flow. Current flow depends totally on voltage and circuit resistance.

Someone saying 12VDC will not shock you demonstrates a lack of under standing of basic physics.

Have to done the taste test yet with the 9v battery?

My uncle was killed when his tractor rolled over, trapping him, and then it caught on fire. Another cousin found him.
I don't know the brand or anything about the tractor except it was a tricycle with the two front tires under the front, not spread out.
Our entire family never bought another tricycle wheeled tractor.

Do not put one between your top and bottom braces, I hear it is like seeing a lightning bolt and will knock you out of your 9th grade algebra class desk.

So I hear anyway.

I worked with alarm systems with 12 and 24 voltages for decades. I no longer wear a wedding ring or use a magnetic tipped screwdriver when working inside the alarm panels. OUCH!

We don’t know who put these accusations together, and the photos are unrelated to what is being said. I put it on here because it should generate some interesting discussion.
It’s an AI generated video. The channel owner gives an AI program a search prompt and it scours the internet for key phrases that match the prompt in order to generate a script then it creates the video. Then there are AI programs to create click bait titles and thumbnails to generate traffic. Any of these channels that have computer generated voiceovers are rarely factual and are strictly done to create a revenue stream. The problem is there are people out there dumb enough to believe this trash hook line and sinker and in about the last year or so YouTube has become inundated with this crap and the traffic they generate greatly overshadows the actual in person narrated videos that actually provide good legitimate information. But this is apparently the future.

I had to stop watching after the 4th one. I mean c'mon, You could lean back on your kitchen chair and hit your head on the stone countertop too. I gotta go heat up some supper.

Yes it can! Anything is possible. Was going to launch my boat one day, in salt water and was in a line waiting my turn. In the waist deep water, a guy was trying to get his engine started and pulled the battery. He went to his truck and removed that battery and put it in his boat. He was waist deep in salt water. He connected the ground terminal first (an automatic no-no) and then grasped the lead end of the positive (that is an item, not a position) connector on the + wire. As soon as he slid the + terminal over the battery he started jumping around. This was the first and only time I saw a battery shock someone.
Ooh! Salt water is a better conductor.

Never been shocked by 12 volts, yet.
84 Volts DC; one can really feel that. It let's you know it's there!

Some similar vids get sent to me by a friend, he knows it ticks me off.:)
Another friend would send me the next older series and we would collectively shake our heads, they were so bad.
That AI bunch called a Rumely a Roomely oil-poled. AI is silly to be nice. And, adhere to rules...

Voltage affects people differently. Some people can pull a plug wire to check a dead cylinder. It lights me up so I don't do it. 12v shocks me. 24v shocks me. 120 and 220 shocks as well. 550 is the worst I've seen and luckily it knocked me off and on my behind.

As far as the video I agree the MF 135 will stand up at nothing in a heartbeat on an incline. Got that T shirt dragging logs decades ago.

I’ve seen that thumbnail on YT, and never clicked on it because I assume it is as dumb as what I’m reading here.

Very stupid.

There are also the ‘amazing farm machines’ type that put 12 tires on each side of a tractor, or a 120 row planter, or some strange potato harvesting wheel with teeth but 2 stories tall on the back of a combine, all clearly photoshopped, and just there to confuse non ag people.

Kind of bother to me, really. Gets my knickers bunched up.

I would have thought the old Fordson model F would have been somewhere on that list. Used to have one and was always extremely careful when running it. They were noted for going over backwards on top of the operator. Maybe a lack of common sense and caution had a hand in that though.

If you are speaking about an ignition wire on a gas engine, yes you will get a shock but then its 10,000 to 30,000 volts DC, not 12.
If you personally can feel 12 volts DC, then I would say you are an atypical human being. Go and touch the positive and negative posts on a 12 v battery, nothing will happen to you. I will say no more on the subject.
Try licking a 9 volt battery.

Millivolts can kill
Its the amps that get you
That is a common misconception.

It is the POWER that creates the damage.

Volts times Amps equals Watts. Watts is the expression of POWER. VOLTS is the force that causes AMPS to flow. You cannot have one with out the other,

I watch a lot of tractor videos. When the narrator says John Deere four zero two zero, I move on to another video as I won’t learn too much.
Because those are not human narrators. They are text to voice translators so cannot get the context right. I agree with you in that I find those terribly frustrating and they are getting more common by the day.
