texas fence fixer

I didnt even know what a Texas Fence Fixer was. So I googled it. IHMO Seems high priced for what it does. Think I will stick with the yellow wire stretcher. Been doing a good job for me for over 50. years. However it looks like it may fit on a saddle better than a yellow one. In that respect I would consider one if I was still full time in the cattle business.

I used mine just last week as a matter of fact. They're everything they're supposed to be. If you have barbed wire fences, you need one, no two ways about it.

I've got both. They're two different tools for two different jobs. You need the yellow one for splicing, but for tightening, I've tried the using the yellow one like a TFF, but the wire is too close to the bar to get a good swing with the loop. With cattle prices so high, spend a little bit of that money on a TFF and try it. You'll be amazed at how simple it makes tightening fence.

The price seems about what would be expected for a USA produced low volume product. I'm pretty sure they aren't selling 10,000 a week.

It looks useful, I'll probably order one eventually to help with my growing fencing needs and help support a TX business.

These work easy enough, but you use one in every loose spot. Bought some, made some.

I wondered what you were talking about. Now how does that work on a woven wire fence? All we ever had.

ou will just have to figure that out on your own. "Had" implies that you do not need to.
