Texas Pride trailers

Anyone had any experience with Texas Pride (Madisonville Tx) gooseneck trailers for hauling antique John Deere tractors and general use around ranch? How would they compare with Big Tex, Longhorn, PJ and/or Brute for quality build/materials and price points. Anybody have the electric/hydraulic drum/disc option? Any comments would be appreciated.

I have a friend that has a 30 ft dual wheel tandom Texas pride. It is a well built trailer. We haul three tractors on it all time. We will put 2 JD Bs and a 50 on it with no problem.

Thanks. They look well built in the brochures. I"d probably only haul a JD630 and a JD 50 on it at one time, or maybe my JD3020 by itself so I will probably go with the 22 or 24 plus 5ft dovetail. Going to Texas in a couple of weeks and I plan on stopping at three manufacturing locations in East Texas. Will be sure to add them to the list. Thanks again.

While in East Texas, you might also want to check out Performance Trailers in Mt. Pleasant, TX.

Call 903-572-0029 or 800-945-4315 and ask for Kerry Whitaker.

They have worked on all of our trailers and they do excellent work.

They are also open on Saturday mornings until noon which helps us a lot.

Just down the road is Top Hat Trailers in Naples, TX.

Call 903-897-2813 and ask for Zack.

They also do very good work, but aren't open on Saturday.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I'll check them out in a couple of weeks. Seems like Texas is the gooseneck capital of the world. Lots of good ones to chose from.
