Well, never asked the questions, but I scoured the archives and you have all answered many questions about a Case 230 baler. I have been looking at this one for awhile. It's in great shape, but not at all common around here. I was really leary about buying it, took a friend with me to look at it. He gave the approving nod, so I felt better about tripping the trigger on the deal.
It's home now and will be cleaned and lubed in the morning. Hope to rebale some hay this week in a buddies barn to try it out.
I did get the wagon hitch with it, not installed, but I have it. I literally took my old Wisconsin powered IH 45 to the scrap yard this morning. Pulled the pin and never looked back on 3120 lbs of pain and misery.
I do a small amount of hay and hope to have better luck with this baler.
What do you think?
