Well, after lot's of cussing, I finally got all the sheet metal, steering wheel, fuel tank, and all the other assorted pieces off the tractor. Followed the IT manual re-sealed, and started to re-assemble. Now, as per the manual... feed in the 28 bearing balls using clean grease. Install the upper half of transfer tube. Now, that sounds simple, but, every time I get the 28 bearings in the housing,(that alone is a wonderful journey) I can't get the top part of the tube back on. No matter how I try to jiggle and worm the top of the tube, it always knocks out 1 or 2 balls and I'm back to square one. Have I over looked some secret known only to the tractor Gods?
