The 88 lives

Well, my 88 lives. Rebuilt head and a new front seal. Put her on the dyno and she put out 48 horse. Not too bad for an old girl that is 64 years old.

So what should the hp be as the engine is currently equiped? At 48 hp you seem to have about 6 more hp than a stock 88 would be (42 hp) but less hp than a Super 88 would be (55.7 hp).

Likely, Either way I would be happy as long as it runs good. As you said it is 64 years old - just curious.
