Well i got the wd45 that was sitting for 15 years running. She smokes though and i was wondering how to tell if i need a rebuild or what.

Try using some Sea Foam for awhile.
Piston rings are probably stuck in the groves.

Fill in the gaps a bit. Did you soak the cylinders with any thing?? What have or have you not done to it. One that has sat a long time needs to have the cylinders filled with ATF etc to lube/clean/free up sticking parts. That said the smoke maybe the reason it was parked 15 years ago also
