(quoted from post at 12:30:57 05/23/16) This is EXACTLY what Bernie has been yelling about. You can rest assured that mergers like this will be the norm if the Donald is elected.

(quoted from post at 17:12:34 05/23/16) Ford GM MF and JD all have parts from foreign countries and cars from other countries , I don't think any tractor under 80 HP is US made , maybe even larger. There is no such thing as all US .
(quoted from post at 02:25:42 05/24/16) I agree, most foreign vehicles are only assembled here (about 10 hours labor) but designed, engineered, tooled, financed, controlled, processed and top managed overseas. That is why so many of our college grads that used to work in industry are now working at Starbucks and Enterprise. We have not just lost factory jobs, we lost the skilled labor tooling jobs and the white collar jobs. Drive through a GM or Ford factory town, or a textile town in the Carolinas or a steel town in PA. Then tell me how well America did in this world trade deal. Sure we got cheap t-shirts and electronics but we gave up job security, health care and retirement plans for them.

(quoted from post at 09:48:49 05/25/16) ... Foreign companies see Americans as dumb cheap labor....the brain power in kept
their own country.
