I generally try to get that stuff in the trash right away. To hide the evidence.

Looks like lift arm been fixed once before.

I don't think it is a washer. I think it is a broken front spindle and what looks like the hole of a washer is the broken metal.

ditto that.. I've seen some broke lower lift arms and upper lift arms.. but it always makes ya wonder what it took to break them!

Lower Lift Arm: had been welded previously, before I bought the tractor. Broke on me while raking hay (not even a heavy load).

Pitman Arm: for my New Idea sickle bar mower. Already had a crack and had been TAPED up with electrical tape before I got it. Held for three seasons before it gave up.

Axle Shaft: for my New Holland 68 baler - snapped in half pulling the baler out of the barn as it dropped off the concrete pad. Had evidence of a small crack where it broke.

PTO coupling: also for the baler - came apart on me 50' from the end of the last windrow during my first cutting.

Tabby Grey Kitten: Not broken (yet). Overfed, maybe.

Side-ways stress. I snapped one on my Jub pushing snow in reverse... hit something frozen down, and the blade went sideways. Too much force when it came to the end of the slack in the stay chain.
