Soooo...the hubby and I decided we needed some steps on the Franken Ford because well, I don't want to get hurt....but we also wanted a drawbar stop so we can tow stuff around without the drawbar spinning. So we MADE both the steps and the stop. We were so happy the other day when we found the PERFECT size grating for the steps! And then we got some flat stock for the hanger on the front peg and for the stop. So here are some pictures...just to show off what we've done! Also it's called the Franken Ford because she has a 9n body and an 8n engine (that yes both my hubby and I put on!). Frankie will be getting a beautiful paint job in the summer! Thank you!!!!

P.S. we are not professionals...we like to think of ourselves as perfessionals. Lol

That looks really good!

I had a 9-2-8N for a few years, as well as a couple other N's. Really like those red belly Fords.

my what big tires you have ! i like show off's. 🤗 is the hubbies name johnny ? reminds me of the johnny cash song Frankie and Johnny were sweet hearts ?

Nice! I like the big tires as well, reminds me of a Wheelhorse garden tractor that my Dad bought when I was a teen. The previous owner had upsized the wheels and tires on it. It would really move iin third gear. Still had plenty of torque in the woods too. Ya's might wanna' think about radiusing the corners on the drawbar stop to prevent scraping your shins later on....

Hubby got a good deal on the tires. Guy in NY couldn't use them on his property because he kept sliding down the hill...so he let the hubby have them brand new for $300! And that's how she ended up with such big tires.

Hubby said the same thing AFTER he put it on. He's ready to go out and fix a few things on it...but he's into reading the forums. Lol
