The full chopper video....

Hot off the grill & as quoted from the video's description:

(Why? I'm in a hurry this AM! That's why! ;v) )

"This is my first time out in the field with this machine. The crop is a batch of rained on, moldy, nasty hay that's getting chopped onto the ground for fertilizer. The 560 did great on the job. Just need to change out the throttle lever disc as the one on there isn't holding at 540.

The chopper did good, as far as I can tell. It picked up decent except for the stuff that was already chopped. Went over all the bearings after the outing & they were all cool to the touch. The pickup reel needs to be adjusted to stop the ticking noise & it needs to be centered. Most of the tines are scraping against the tine guides. There's a few tines that need to be replaced too. And one of the tine guides gave up the ghost during this outing. The ticking you hear from the back of the machine is one of the blower paddles hitting against the frayed end of the blower rim.... which still needs to get changed out. There's a donor FH83 here that will be a good source of parts & that band. Can swipe some tines off of that hay head, too.

And yes. there is a wagon. No, it's not ready for service yet. Might have it ready by the time it's time to chop corn or at least somewhat functional.

Can't wait to do more with this chopper!!

Keep an eye out for that & more on my channel here.

Enjoy!!"
