I didn't know they still published it ?
I used to read it all the time many many years ago my uncle got it.

Went and looked for it, it seems that it is, just like Homestead Mag, an on-line magazine? Could not find a link to order/subscribe, price. Anyone knows about that??

I found the links on their site, but cannot get them to work. Might just be a technical glitch, but they do offer a help number:

For further assistance with the Homestead or The Furrow Magazine please call us at: 1-800-FURROW1 (800-387-7691).

I used to get the furrow. Dont know why I dont anymore. I have loans through jdcredit, and the mega dealer im forced to deal with now has to put my name on all my purchases even if I pay cash. But I do get the new holland magazine even though i ve never bought a piece of equipment from that dealer-but he isnt a mega dealer either. Rant for the day done..lol..

I am right there with you, but it annoys my dad more than me. He gets special deal letters, coupons, and freebie stuff when he hasn't bought anything in close to 10 years. I bought (JDCredit) a 4440 from them two years ago, spend thousands each year on parts on various repairs of equipment and don't get a thing.

I think it must all be in their way of luring back customers.

I get the Furrow and have for years, as did my dad and grandpa before me. I have most of them saved from the mid-40's. It used to be that your local dealer put you on the list to receive it, although you can probably call the number listed elsewhere and receive it directly. Odds are they will want you to designate a local dealer anyway. At one time I got a Furrow from three different dealers. Now I get one Furrow with three dealer names on it. Mike

I get the Furrow. I would guess for 25+ years now... my 96 year old dad used to get the Furrow. Its my understanding the local dealer puts you on a list to receive it. I believe I began to receive it when I switched to Deere after Allis Chalmers went out of business.

I finnaly started getting it this year had to send john Deere an email to get it told them who my dealer was and then it started coming.

Our dealer told me that the cost of the subscription is paid by the dealer and so they try not to just give them to anyone who asks. They keep track of how often/how much you purchase and below a certain level they don't renew the subscription.
