Our son got married Tuesday night. They were going to wait till spring, but her dad has cancer and it kicked in big time and they gave him just a short time to live and she wanted to get married with him there so they did. I met him the first time that night and noticed several Farmalls out by the barn when we pulled in, so we got to talking tractors. Man, I wish he was healthy, I think we could have had a ball going to shows and helping each other out. I got to thinking at work today, and so I called my son and talked to him and he called his wife and talked to her and then I talked to her and she is going to talk to her Mom about it.I would like to have one of her dad's tractors to fix up and save for when they have kids, so if I can turn them into old tractor nuts, then they can have one of their Gandpa's tractors, make a sign that this was Grandpa Howard's tractor. It would belong to their future children, I'd just hold it for them till they were old enough to have it.Something to tie them in with someone they never had a chance to meet. Daughter in law thought it was a good idea and is going to run it past her Mom and then Dad. I'm not trying to be a vulture waiting for him to die to get his tractor, but I know if something happened to me, I would like my grandson to be able to have one of Pawpaw's tractors. Am I nuts? Will let you know what I find out. Chris
