i bought athermostat for a john deere 2 cyl,don't need it anymore. napa part#191 180/ f, will this work in my 9n front mount dist.?

Put an ohmeter across the thermostat. I'm sure the John Deere and Ford would have different numbers but if it is close you could probably use it.

I don't know of any DEERE that used a thermostat that is inserted into a radiator hose.

So, perhaps you should quit picking on the guy that said "NO"!

no it will not fit,,, www.rockauto.com do a search for # 143-0024 made by Beck arnley $2.90
