I've had this one for close to 15 years, got it from the original family in Calistoga that had an orchard farm. It had been sitting for about 10 years before that except for being moved around when it was in the way, as it was running on 3 cylinders, and they also had a 9N to do their mowing. It had one other problem- the owner had pulled the grill off to clean out in there, and then his kid started hitting a golf ball around, and right into the cherry radiator. Drug it home with 1040 original hours on it, and it also has a Howard Reducer trans in it. Smoked its way on the trailer on 3. Get it home and start in, and I think his kid had been tinkering on it too- one of the plug wires was broken off inside the boot. Cylinder was loaded with oil and plug dripping. Went in to the spare wire box and grabbed one, cleaned the plug and it lit up and killed skeeters for miles. Took a while and a lot of plug cleaning to get it cleaned out, and the oil burned out of the original muffler, and some work with the rotary mower and she purrs. I have converted it to 12V only because the gennie or regulator quit and the battrey was old, but kept all the parts in a box. Also recently replaced the radiator with the restoration quality one from this site, as was the alternator kit. At some point she apparently got a dealership bluebelly paint job (dealership was 2 miles away) so she needs paint. Starts instantly and runs sweet, steering tight, hitch strong, brakes work etc., and now sits at 1154 original hours, and I no longer need to mow and sold the mower, and have too many old biddies sitting around so time for it to go. If I wanted to clean it up and paint it I could probably get a good price considering the condition, hours and Howard trans, but too many other projects. Any thoughts on value as-is? It's in Napa and would make great yard art for a resort or winery, but it's in way too good condition to get parked for the tourists
