The harder it is to get stuck, the harder it is to get it unstuck when it does get stuck!
There is always somebody who will test anything that is built!

That stuff sure does take the joy out of harvesting. BTDT many times in 11 years on the wheat harvest. From the Oklahoma heat to the northern cold. Someone has to be the sucker who gets down in the mud and water to dig out from under the axle(s) and wrap the chain. Then when the chain breaks he gets to do it all over again, but by then, who cares. Jim

Time to wait for freeze up or until the ground dries in the spring. I've seen a good crop of corn harvested in April. Didn't cost anything for storage or drying either.

I saw a D9 Cat dozer sunk up to the top of the seat back in quicksand when I was a kid. Nothing in front was out of the muck but the exhaust pipe. They had to dig holes around it and pump the water out with several large pumps for a couple days before they could get it out. He was pushing earthmovers when they hit the patch of that sand that gave Grandpa fits when he farmed that field. I wish I had pictures of that one!

There's stuck and there's planted. If it is stuck you can pull it out, if it is planted, just plant flowers around it.

I've heard tales of combines being pulled apart in the attempt to unstuck them. We had a problem, while back... Neighbor got stuck with his huge liquid manure tanker/injector pulled by large dual wheeled tractor. Son and I tried to help. We couldn't budge him with a JD B and a Farmall 200 together!
